In October last year, Sony promised their Xperia Z2, Z3 and Z3 Compact
customers that they would receive a Marshmallow update. Last month, a Beta version was made. Now its official.
The firmware is carrying a build number of 23.5.A.0.570 and it runs on Android 6.0.1.
Only one model of each is recieving it though: the Z2 D6503, Z3 D6603 and Z3 Compact D5803. It isn't even international, so if you happen to live in these countries: US, Russia, Ukraine, Middle East, North Africa and Latin America, and happen to have one of the models above, you are a lucky one. If not, it will be worth a wait. It may be available next week worldwide though, so don't give up yet.
